Drawn from the bountiful archives of Bach’s Leipzig cantatas, this intimate performance by our chamber ensemble Concentus, features Cantata 93, Wer nur den lieben Gott lässt walten; Cantata 178, Wo Gott der Herr nicht bei uns hält; and Motet 2, Der Geist hilft unsrer Schwachheit auf.

Solo arias from mezzo-soprano Ruth Rainero, tenor Dan Hutchings, and bass Tim Krol, and the splendid instruments of our Period Consort complete the program.
