J.S. Bach was an undisputed master of brilliant choral writing and produced a huge collection of cantatas and choral masterworks. For this concert, director David Babbitt has chosen a sampling of Bach's most inspiring and radiant choruses from a list of his own personal favorites. Combined with the stunning Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 for trumpet and baroque orchestra, this is indeed a fitting anniversary celebration.
