This sunny and extroverted program features two glorious and much beloved choral masterworks from J.S. Bach and his Italian contemporary, Antonio Vivaldi. The combination of Bach’s superb Magnificat in D Major, BWV 243 and Vivaldi’s popular Gloria in D Major, RV 589 brilliantly expresses the intricacies and splendors of the high baroque. Join us for an evening of some of the most engaging choral music ever—and share it with friends and family.
The concert length is one hour plus 20 minute intermission.
