Craig Lemming

Zimbabwean tenor, Craig Lemming enjoys performing a wide variety of music, with a keen interest in repertoire from the Baroque and Classical eras. Mr. Lemming has performed as guest soloist with American Opera Theater, Bach Sinfonia, Catacoustic Consort, Duo Geminiani, Harare City Orchestra, Magnificat, Minnesota Bach Society, Pittsburgh Bach and the Baroque Ensemble, San Francisco Bach Choir, at the Bloomington Early Music Festival, the Harare International Festival of the Arts, and the Roland Hayes Memorial Concert Series. Mr. Lemming has been a member of King’s Chapel Choir under Heinrich Christensen and the late Daniel Pinkham, Trinity Episcopal Church Choir under Dr. Marilyn Keiser, Pro Arte Singers under John Poole, and has performed with Apollo’s Voice under Raymond Leppard and The Rose Ensemble under Jordan Sramek. Mr. Lemming has toured the United Kingdom and the Eastern United States performing vigorous traditional Southern African works with the ensemble Tabatana. Mr. Lemming holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from New England Conservatory and a Master of Music Degree in Early Music from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music.
