Join the Choir

Have you sung in the past and do you miss choral singing? We are always interested in welcoming new members.

The San Francisco Bach Choir presents high-quality choral concerts from an early-music perspective and specializes in innovative programming. Our volunteer singing membership is drawn from the Bay Area's large community of trained but non-professional musicians.

Our programming includes not only the work of J.S. Bach and the extensive repertoire from early North German composers, but also explores a broad range of choral music from composers of the Western European tradition who wrote during the 16th and 17th centuries.

The seventy-voice volunteer choir will be holding auditions throughout the summer for its upcoming season and again as needed after each concert. We have openings in all sections for experienced choral singers with good musical skills and an enthusiasm for participating in an active and dynamic musical organization.
