The San Francisco Bach Choir announces the release of its most recent CD recording, Ceremonies and Celebrations. This lovely recording features selections from the Bach Choir's May 2002 concert in Grace Cathedral, which showcased the exquisite antiphonal cathedral music of Northern Germany's Colossal Baroque era, including works by Prætorius, Schütz, Buxtehude, Handl, and more.

Our first CD features the glorius Christmas music of Michael Prætorius. These works for multiple choirs of voices and instruments, recorded at the Chapel at St. Vincent’s School for Boys in San Rafael, CA, features music prepared by director David P. Babbitt and first performed by the SFBC during our In Dulci Jubilo! concerts from the 1995-1996 season.
