Yitgadal v'yitkadash
sh'mei raba
b'alma di v'ra chirutei,
v'yamlich malchutei
b'chaiyeichon uv'yomeichon
uv'chaiyei d'chohl beit Yisrael,
ba'agala uvizman kariv, v'im'ru:
A-mein. |
Magnified and sanctified
is the name of God throughout the world
which He has created according to His will.
May He aestablish His kingdom
during the days of your life
and during the life of all the house of Israel,
speedily, soon, and say you,
Amen. |

v'yitpaar v'yitromam v'yithalal,
sh'mei d'kudsha, b'rich hu,
l'eila ul'eila min kol birchata shirata,
tushb'chata v'nechemata,
da'amiran b'al-ma, v'im'ru:

May His great name
be blessed forever and ever.
Exalted and honored
be the name of the Holy One,
blessed is He whose glory transcends,
is beyond all praises, hymns and blessings
that one can render to Him;
and say you,
