Christus surrexit.
Mala nostra texit
et quos hic dilexit
hos ad coelos vexit.
Kyrie eleison.

Et si non surrexisset
totus mundus perisset.
Laudemus te hodie
psallentes cantica laetitiae.

Alleluia.
Laudemus te hodie carmine laetitiae.
Kyrie eleison.

Christ is risen.
He has covered our evil doings,
and those whom he has loved
he has led to heaven.
Lord, have mercy.

And if he had not risen
the whole world would have perished.
Let us praise you today,
striking up songs of joy.
