Ich freu’ mich des, das mir geredt ist, daß wir werden ins Haus des Herren gehen. Und daß uns’re Füße werden stehen in deinen Toren, Jerusalem. erusalem ist gebauet, daß eine Stadt sei, da man zusammen kommen soll. Da die Stämme hinaufgehen sollen, nämlich die Stämme des Herren, zu predigen dem Volk Israel, zu danken dem Namen des herren. Denn daselbst sitzen die Stühle zum Gerichte, Stühle des Hauses Davids. Wünschet Jerusalem Glück, es müsse wohlgehen denen, die dich lieben. Es müsse Friede sein inwendig demen Mauern und Glück in deinen Palästen. Um meiner Brüder und Freunde willen will ich dir Friede wünschen. Um Des Hauses willen des Herren, unsers Gottes, will ich dein Bestes suchen. Ehre sei dem Vater und dem Sohn und auch dem heilgen Geiste. Wie es war im anfang, jetzt und immerdar und von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit. Amen.	I was glad when they said unto me, "Let us go to the house of the Lord." At last our feet shall stand within your gates, O Jerusalem! Jerusalem is built as a city in one united whole, there the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, a sign for Israel to give thanks unto the name of the Lord. For there are set thrones of judgement, the thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, prosperity for your homes. Peace be within your walls, and prosperity in your palaces. For my brothers’ and friends’ sakes, I will now say, "Peace be with you." For love of the house of the Lord our God I will pray for your well-being. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be. Amen. Psalm 122
