Angelus Domini
apparuit Joseph, dicens:
Joseph, fili David,
noli timere accipere Mariam
conjugem tuam
noli timere quod enim in ea,
in ea natum est
de Spiritu Sancto est,
noli timere pariet autem filium,
noli timere Joseph fili David
et vocabis nomen ejus Jesum.		 The angel of the Lord
appeared to Joseph, saying:
“Joseph, son of David,
do not fear to take Mary
as your wife,
do not fear for the child
conceived in her
is of the Holy Spirit,
do not fear for she will bear a son,
do not fear, Joseph, son of David,
you shall call his name Jesus.”
