| Jubilemus singuli festum celebrantes in honore beati Marci evangelistae, de cujus solemnitate gaudent angeli, atque tota curia caelestis collaudantes et benedicentes Dominum: alleluja; cujus benignitatem et non condignis veneremur laudibus; quoniam interalia dignationis suae beneficia nobis prae cateris hujus sancti patrocinia perdonavit: alleluja. |
Let each of us shout with joy, celebrating the feast in honor of blessed Mark, the evangelist, in whose solemnity the angels find delight, and also the whole heavenly court, extolling and praising the Lord: Alleluia; and whose benevolence we honor with unworthy praise; for over and above all other of his favors, he has offered us, as a gift, his protection: Alleluia. |
