| Omnes gentes, plaudite manibus. Jubilate Deo in voce exsultationis. Quoniam Dominus excelsus, terribilis rex magnus super omnem terram. Subjecit populos nobis et gentes sub pedibus nostris. Elegit nobis hereditatem suam speciem Jacob quam dilexit. Ascendit Deus in jubilo, et Dominus in voce tubae. Alleluja. |
All nations, clap your hands. Make a joyful sound to God with the sound of rejoicing. For the Lord is exalted, a great (and) dreadful king over the whole earth. He subjected peoples to us and (put) nations under our feet. He chose for us as his inheritance the splendor of Jacob which he prized. God went up with a joyful sound, and the Lord with the sound of the trumpet. Hallelujah. Psalm 46:2–6 (47:1–5) with hallelujah |
