| Quem vidistis, pastores, dicite, annunciate nobis, in terris quis apparuit? Alleluia! |
Whom did you see, shepherds, tell us, proclaim to us: who has appeared on the earth? We saw the newborn child and choirs of angels praising the Lord. We see Mary and Joseph, prostrate suppliants upon the earth and in humble adoration: thanks be to God, who delivered to us victory through Jesus Christ, our savior. O great mystery and wondrous sacrament, that animals should see the newborn Lord lying in a manger. Alleluia! |
