Giovanni Gabrieli (c. 1554–1612)
| Original Text | English Translation |
| Salvator noster, hodie dilectissimi natus est. Gaudeamus omnes exultet igitur sanctus. Qui appropinquat ad palmam. Gaudeat peccator, quia invitatur ad veniam animetur gentilis, quia invitatur ad vitam: alleluia. |
Today our Savior is most wondrously born. Let us all rejoice, may the holy one delight exceedingly who draws near the reward of victory. Let the sinner rejoice, because he is invited to forgiveness; let the gentile be given life, for he is invited to live: Alleluia. |
