| Sedit angelus ad sepulcrum Domini stola claritatis coopertus. Videntes eum mulieres, nimio terrore perterritae astiterunt a longe. Tunc locutus est angelus et dixit eis: Nolite metuere, dico vobis, quia ille quem quaeritis mortuum iam vivit et vita hominum cum eo surrexit. Alleluia. |
An angel sat at the tomb of the lord dressed in a shining robe. Seeing him, the women terrified stood off at a distance. Then the angel spoke and said to them, Do not be afraid, I say to you, because the one whom you seek dead is already alive, and human life has risen with him. Alleluia! |
