| Also hat Gott die Welt geliebt Daß er seinen eingebornen Sohn gab, Auf daß alle, die an ihm glauben, Nicht verloren werden, Sondern das ewige Leben haben. |
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that all who believe in him should not perish but have eternal life. |
