
Dara Phung is a pianist and music director based in San Francisco. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Southern California, where she studied with Kevin Fitz-Gerald. Dara has served as the collaborative pianist with the San Francisco Bach Choir since 2022. She is also a collaborative pianist for the intermediate and advanced divisions of the Young Women’s Chorus of San Francisco, accompanying the choirs in rehearsals, performances, and tours.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Dara attended Burlingame High School and currently plays for the choirs at Burlingame and San Mateo High Schools. Dara also serves as the music director at Noe Valley Church and performs occasionally with Teatro Mistral’s Opera Cocktales at Martuni’s.
