FAQ for 2024 Many Voices, One Art

Many Voices, One Art – Saturday March 2, 2024 9:30 am – 2:30 pm
Calvary Presbyterian Church, 2515 Fillmore St. at Jackson, San Francisco

What time does the Festival begin?
Registration opens at 9:00 and the opening Welcome/Warm-up starts at 9:30.

What are your Covid protocols?
We encourage participants to wear N95, KN95, or KF94 masks at all times except when eating or drinking. We will have a limited number of masks available for those who need them. We also strongly recommend that participants take an antigen test at home in the morning before they come to the event. And of course, please stay home if you are feeling sick!

What should I bring?
Bring a N95, KN95, or KF94 mask, water bottle with lid or cover, and food for the lunch break. Sorry, no food or other liquids (including coffee!) are allowed in the Sanctuary or Chapel. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that allow you to move.

We’ll also have a Singer Resources table set up, so please feel free to bring postcards, sign-up sheets, concert or audition announcements, or any other materials that might be of interest to Bay Area singers.

What about eating lunch?
Please bring your own bag lunch or snack. You can purchase lunch nearby, but time might be a bit too tight. There are several outdoor courtyards at Calvary, or you can sit on the front steps of the church entrance. We will have some tables and chairs set up in Calvin Hall, and will leave doors open for airflow (dress warmly!).

How do I get there?
Street parking is available in the neighborhood, but can be challenging to find on a weekend. Please allow extra time to find parking, and carpool if possible.

Nearby garages:
California Pacific Medical Center (2401 Clay at Webster)
Japantown Parking (Fillmore between Geary and Post)

Public transport:
Muni buses: 1-California, 3-Jackson, 22-Fillmore and 24-Divisadero.
BART: exit at the Montgomery Station and walk one block north to Sansome and Sutter to catch the 3-Jackson bus westbound.

Can I record or take photographs?
During the workshops, please do not record video or audio or take pictures. You are welcome to take photos or videos at any other time. The SF Bach Choir may take some photos for publicity or fundraising purposes only.
